Розробка уроку по темі ''Travelling''

Тема: Подорожі.
Тип уроку: узагальнення і систематизація ЗУН.
Мета:
повторити лексичний матеріал з темиTravelling ”;
– тренувати у пред’явленні власних проектів з подальшим аналізом, вести
 бесіду за змістом почутого, прочитаного;
– вчити описувати планування подорожі з вживанням граматичних структур to be going toта складати діалоги на задану тему;
– розвивати інтерес до учбово-пізнавальної діяльності на англійській мові, розвивати логіку, увагу, пам’ять, діалогічне мовлення, творче мислення учнів,– формувати поважне ставлення до точки зору інших.
Дидактичний матеріал:
-  Картки для індивідуальної та парної роботи;
-  Відеоролик;
-  Аудіо запис;
-  Проекти учнів.
Форми роботи: індивідуальна, фронтальна, парна, групова.
Методи: репродуктивний, продуктивний,  творчий.

Last lesson you were divided into 3 groups. Your task was to choose a country or a place where you would like to go and find  interesting information about it.

Project 1. Australia
Australia is a large country lying between the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
About one half of its territory is occupied by deserts and semi deserts. Australian climate is dry and warm. The main part of Australia lies in tropics. December, January and February are summer months in Australia. January is the hottest month in Australia The average summer temperature is 20 -30 degrees above zero. Winter comes in June, July and August. Then the average temperature is 12- 20 degrees above zero. Droughts are common in Australia.
There are many animals in Australia that you cannot see anywhere else. We can divide Australian animals into three categories: the good, the bad, the ugly.
Kangaroos are in the first place. There are many different types of kangaroo. The biggest are the great grey kangaroos. They are 213 centimeters tall and can run at 56 kilometers per hour.
Wombats and koalas have pockets inside their mouths to keep food . The number of koalas is getting smaller. Australia also has a lot of native marsupial mice that live in the desert. Many of them only come out at night.
You know, there are many animals that are «unpopular» in Australia such as spiders which are dangerous. You can find them in Sydney. If they are hungry, they will attack anything that moves. They have sharp teeth and poison
Another animal with sharp teeth is the shark. Other animals that are a problem for beach lovers are jellyfish. They look like bubbles and people do not swim when they are in the water. Other «unpopular» animals include dingoes. They are wild dogs. They are unpopular because they eat farmers’ animals.There are a lot of crocodiles and snakes in the northern Australia. In the dry areas, you can see amazing and colourful lizards.
Project 2.South America
South Americais the fourth largest continent in size and the fifth largest in population. It is washed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. A tropical rainforest's weather is a result of its position near the equator, which is a warm area of the earth.
 In the rainforest thunderstorms are common. There are no seasons in the rainforest, and the weather is basically the same thing every day! It’s hot and rainy. It seems that it’s always summer there.
North and South America were named after Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci. The highest waterfall in the world is Santo del Angel (also called Angel Falls). It is almost 1000 meters high! The Atacama Desert in Chile is one of the driest places on Earth. The Amazon River is the longest river in the world (after the Nile).
Rainforests are extremely important in the ecology of the Earth. 
The Amazon rainforest are home for more than half of the world's species of flora and fauna. There are such mammals as jaguars, spider monkeys, red deer, bats and others. There are also very dangerous reptiles there. These are anacondas, lizards, coral snakes and frogs.
People like chocolate all over the world. It comes from the cocoa tree. Cocoa trees grow in hot, wet countries such as South America. After 5 years pink flowers grow on the trees. The flowers become pods. Inside pods are beans. People in factories make chocolate from the beans.
Project 3.The Carpathians Mountains
The Carpathians Mountains are located in Eastern Europe and spread across seven countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Austria and Romania.
The Carpathian Mountains is one of the most popular resorts and tourist centers of the country. Beautiful forests, mountains, fields attract tourists all time! The region is rich in culture, activity and history. It is ideal for summer holidays walking, riding, mountain climbing, exploring.
If you visit the Carpathians, you will not find yourself in extreme blizzards. The Carpathians have mild temperature in winter time. The lowest winter temperatures are around -10 C to -15 C. In summer time the weather is warm. To get to the Carpathians is not difficult if you have a car and a map.
Bears, wolves, wild boars and lynx are still present in large numbers.
